Our Story
My name is Stylianos Papadakis, and I founded Dipeat after studying Food Science and building experience across both the food manufacturing and hospitality industries.
Born and raised in Crete, Greece's largest island and the birthplace of one of the world's most celebrated Mediterranean food cultures, I grew up surrounded by simple ingredients, fresh cooking, and food made to be shared with family and friends. Quality olive oil, legumes, vegetables, herbs, and homemade recipes were a natural part of everyday life.
After moving to the UK and working in food manufacturing, I saw firsthand how many products are designed around shelf life, production efficiency, and cost reduction. At the same time, my experience in hospitality reinforced the importance of quality ingredients, freshness, and creating food that people genuinely enjoy.
These experiences inspired me to create Dipeat.
I wanted to prove that convenient food doesn't need preservatives, artificial additives, or long ingredient lists to taste great.
By combining food science knowledge with the Mediterranean food culture I grew up with, Dipeat creates fresh dips and seed crackers made from simple, honest ingredients you can recognise and trust.
